Go For Pakistani Bridal Style This Season!

Pakistani wedding fashion is too rich and grand to describe in words. The richness of the fabric, the intricacy of the detailing, the embroidery; everything just combines beautifully to give bride and groom the most royal look on earth. Pakistani bridal wear has the essence of its culture and roots, while the fine traditional chikan, sequin, stones, zircon, zardosi, kora or dubka work give new edges to the outfits.

 Sharara- Sharara or gharara is the traditional Pakistani bridal wear for weddings. Filled with wide and intricate zari embroidery, shararas emit royal look and are perfect to be chosen as wedding attire. A long knee length kameez is worn over these very wide bottomed pants which almost resemble a skirt. You can choose different shararas for different wedding functions. Like for mehendi you can go for a green and gold sharara and for the wedding day can have green and red or red and gold sharara. On the Walima day wear some subtle colour like peach or blue. Going grand is the actual word for a Muslim bride, so do not turn up simple! Wear ornately designed dupattas with moti or beads linings for a graceful and majestic look.

 Designer Lehenga- Designers like Deepak Perwani, Asifa, Nabeel and others have taken the excellence of traditional dresses a level higher. The grandeur beauty of a Pakistani designer lehenga is unmatchable. Choose deep shades as the base colour, so that the heavy detailing and embroidery gets perfectly highlighted on it. Colors like purple, magenta, red, maroon or green look extremely magnificent. The dupatta which is another crucial part of the entire attire should be draped elegantly to flaunt the incredible designs. Such luxurious finery makes the wedding more splendid and memorable. You can wear a dupatta in pure gold or beige shade with golden embellishments to make it outshine and if the lehenga choli has a lighter shade with lots of zari or stone work embroidery all over, then dupatta should have a rich plum or maroon shade with equally resplendent designs to complement and balance the look.

 Designer Anarkali Suits- You can also choose to wear designer anarkali suits that are famous both in India and Pakistan right now. These have derived their names and origin from the Mughal style clothing. Anarkali suit have got a very different outlook and appeal. You can wear grand, highly flared, floor-length latest Anarkali suits for a queenly look. The widespread ghera gives enough exposure to the fine detailing and the dupatta can be draped over one shoulder. The head could be adorned in the traditional Muslim style with a jhoomar passa for getting the best bridal look ever!

 Long Pakistani Suits- You can also replace the churidars with wide bottomed embroidered Pakistani salwars. Long kameez worn over wide Pakistani salwars along with a dupatta is part of traditional Pakistani look. Going with a designer Pakistani suit crafted with a modern outlook while keeping the ethnicity intact is a wonderful choice.
